My name is Andrea McLean. I provide expertise in idea development, process design, strategic planning, and decision making. Over the course of my career I have honed these skills in a fairly broad range of portfolios, including civic and political engagement, chronic disease prevention, and network development. I have enjoyed working with many different groups and individuals, from small business owners to remote Indigenous communities to non-profits and municipal governments.

I’m most inspired by the often messy phase before an idea or decision sprouts into something more defined and doable. Guiding people towards finding clarity and a way forward is truly rewarding.

When I’m not working you may find me attempting to make music, biking, mucking in my yard, listening to records, cooking, or reading.
